Amphan had caused massive destructions in south Bengal mainly Sundarban delta. Many people lost their livelihood for
the scariest cyclone that Bengal had experienced. The local government had supported the affected citizens with some relief funds which had a very temporary effect on their life. Many NGOs worked with them tirelessly to recreate their life and wanted to ensure permanent income for them. Last year Team Bharatkraft tied up with one such NGO and started working with a group of women to make designer clay diyas. We jointly developed many beautiful designs which were appreciated by all during festival sessions.
